Plymouth-Whitemarsh is the informal name for the suburban area just outside of northwest Philadelphia that makes up part of the Colonial School District. The area is made up of Conshohocken, Plymouth Meeting, and Lafayette Hill.
Residents choose to live here for the easy access to Center City by train and the highway. You’ll also find major retailers including Target, Home Depot, Lowe’s, REI, and Ikea in the area. Nearby, you’ll find King of Prussia Mall. King of Prussia Mall is the second largest mall in the US. In Conshohocken, you’ll find a central main street area with local shops and restaurants. Throughout the area you’ll also find plenty of parks with playgrounds, ball fields, and events throughout the year.
Most of the homes in Plymouth-Whitemarsh are single-family detached homes though you’ll find many older twins and rowhouses near Fayette Street in Conshohocken.
